Hello...today, Monday, 7 November 2011...I'm committing to putting my plan in writing...committing to it publicly! I actually started my journey back on 1 June 2011. I started at 268, and my goal is to be at 150, and as of 1 November 2011, I've lost 57 pounds so far.

Losing Motivation HELP!

Hi everybody!!

I'm new on here,so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.
I have set myself a goal to loose a little over 2 stone by September and also to reach a moderate level of fitness.I will be 40 in September.I've always been in reasonable shape and fairly fit.However,the last year has been very very tough and I haven't had the head space to focus on myself and so,my weight has crept up and up. Now I look rubbish and feel rubbish.

Hello, I'm quite interested in some ideas for losing weight. I'm 28 and lead a fairly active lifestyle. I go to boxing classes twice a week (1 hour, 30 minutes each - including sparring and high intensity work out), walk about 7k steps most days. I eat relatively healthy foods. I don't eat meat and avoid carbs a lot. My diet generally involves fish, salad, poached eggs - nothing too dreadful. I am replacing all the fuel and oil lines on a 2000 Mountain Max. I have a couple of questions if anyone is on the forum at this time of year.

1. Is there a good material to replace the in-tank line that goes to the filter? The line I took out is too short to replace the filter so I just had to pull it off. Is should be about 2 longer. It looks to be 5/16". Only after-market, submersible material is really expensive, it does not look flexible and is probably to large to fit through the tank hole. Any ideas?

2. Can I use regular fuel line on the oil pump pulse line?

3. The oil lines are clear and have an odd clamp. Is there a good replacement material?

We organize to have people interviewed by a New York Times journalist who then writes up the story. Each story is in 3 installments.

I LOVE eating honey. I crave it so much.
I have started my diet 3 days ago. And I want to cut all forms of sugar, chocolates, sweetners ( natural or artificial ) etc.

Since I've changed to a vegan diet, I've adopted a healthier lifestyle and lost 35lbs (starting weight 180). I was never in a rush to lose weight my priority was really just paying attention to what I eat and making sure the food I eat is respectful to my body. Good morning!

I've been dieting for at least 6 weeks now, if not more.. and I'm hardly seeing results. I started at 165 (May 2nd) and today I'm ..... 165 (June 13th..). I weigh myself everyday and the past 2 Mondays I've been 163, but as soon as Tuesday and the rest of the week hits I'm back to 165.

I've reached my goal weight, but how to kick metabolism....

About 7 years ago I began my weight loss adventure. I set a goal weight, and reached it. Then I would try to find an amount of calories I could eat to maintain that goal weight, but by the time I had my metabolism sped back up I had gained about 15 pounds, so I would go back on a diet to reach my goal weight. RINSE AND REPEAT.
I'm looking for advice about how to speed my metabolism back up without gaining all the weight. I'm coming off of a 1500 calories a day diet. I'm trying a refeed...

I currently weight 10 stone 10 lbs - a massive amount from what i started at. I had a child 4 months ago also so the weight crept up again but im on the way down again...

Skin care

I never did anything specific to take care of my skin (except for washing, of course ;)) and this is fine... however, I have always had dry skin in some places (and some other minor skin issues), especially on my back and forehead. In the last days I tried to use Nivea creme on my back, to see whether or not it helps, and I must say that it has improved considerably. This experiment has made me realize that skin care products are there for a reason, and I want to see if I can make more...
