Venture Hood Decals

I recently purchased a 2016 Yamaha Venture sled and looked at replacing the cowling decals on each side because of the existing are cracked and peeling not real bad but I want it to look good. So I went online to find a vendor where I could purchase these two decals. The first online parts dealer wanted $75 each the second dealer $85 each and the third $103 each. Am I being punked? Are all sled decals this expensive? Is my only option to go with a after market wrap.

Sled bottoms out

So I just got a 2008 Polaris RMK 600 144. The sled is great but when I hop on it the tunnel drops like 9 inches and its almost bottoming out. I have the torsion springs as tight as possible and the rear shock is set to as stiff as it goes. But for some reason the sled still bottoms out. Thoughts??

I have a 96 Polaris Indy 600 triple with the 3 way header on it. Will triple pipes fit under in the sled? If so I’d really like to do it.

Anyone know or have experience with a bigger lug on a 1998 Polaris Indy 500? I’m looking to get a lug bigger than a .785 and am thinking I could fit a 1 inch lug. Thanks for the help

So I bought a 98 skidoo mach 1 700 triple it has 2200 miles on it really clean and clutch out piped studded but I've been hearing Cuz it is a older sled it won't make it long trips is this true it came with 2 extra belts spark plugs extra tool kit has everything I can't wait for riding this year but just wanted to get some input thanks again

How to properly install plug wires into a coil?

i have a 93 forumla plus 580 and i just brought it back from storage to work on it and i put the new coil on and i put a set of NGK plug wires and still the sled has no spark... im not 100% sure i put the wires into the coil correctly so any info would be greatly appreciated!

1998 Arctic Cat 580 Hood Removal

Hello! I'm trying to repaint my hood but have no idea how to remove it. I see how the nuts and bolts remove but I don't understand how to disconnect the wires without cutting them off the speedometer. I looked all over the place and couldn't even find a model like mine that someone was removing the hood on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Has anyone used those automotive headlight repair kits that fix faded plastic on a snowmobile windshield? I just picked up a pair of 96 Panther 2-ups and their windshields are pretty faded and hard to see through. I was wondering if this might be a good option...

Hello, I have a 1994 Arctic cat 580 EFI mountain cat and was wondering how much you guys thought it could pull safely.

No Headlight, Dash, or Tailight, 1995 VMAX

I recently picked up a 95 VMAX 500. When I got it the taillight worked but dash/headlights did not. I bought a replacement regulator and put it in, now the taillights won’t work either. Put the old one back in, still nothing.

the harness into the regulator isn’t going in all the way so it clips, stops just barely short. could that do it?

Looking at the wiring, it looks someone connected blue and white wires coming from dash, and then there’s an extra blue just dangling.

Looking for an aftermarket rear bumper for my 2016 skidoo summit sp t3 174 800r e-tec. I found this primary last week while cleaning out a shed. Didn't know anything about it, other than that it was a spare that had sat in there for many years. Appeared to be complete and in working condition, so I saved it from a load of scrap iron.

VMAX PROBLEMS !!!

Hello I have put a 95 vmax 600 snowmobile motor in a small sandrail and I keep fowling plugs to the point that it only gets full power for maybe 30 minutes then fowls the plugs, I think its the tors system causing the problem. I have put the blk a wht wires together to eliminate it but it still seems to be causing problems. I have the throttel and the oil injection cables both pulling at the same rate. ? is that the problem or do I need to change something else. Any help in this matter would...

VMAX PROBLEMS !!!

engine trouble

I have a 1989 Ski-Doo Formula MX that seems to be running on 1 cylinder. Changed plugs several times with no improvement. Also checked compression.

Left cylinder = 130 psi
Right cylinder = 150 psi

Not sure if these reading are correct but they're substantially different. I also have 2 other Ski-Doo sleds and the compression is approx 125-130 psi. This sled has about 3200 miles on it. Trying to determine course of action. Any help is much appreciated.

1980 Panther 440 Clutch

I've got this clutch semi-apart, but really need to take it down to just bits and pieces so I can clean them all up. The ramps and rollers seem to be in good shape except for a bit of rust and dust build up. It sprang apart right after this picture was taken. There are 3 small bolts/set screws, I've backed out all the way, but still can't get the center piece off.

There is a bunch of rust, so WD-40 has been used a lot. Yes, I know, dry all the pieces off when assembling, but I needed...

So I am down to the brake system, first of all in the reservoir there is a rubber disk laying loose, any clues?

Next the caliper is bad, piston won't move, bleeder problems. Going to replace the caliper, probably direct with Polaris. Any reasons I should source it elsewhere?

New at trail riding Registration issues

'89 Yamaha Ovation bogs when warmed up

I'm starting to work on my snowmobile getting it running for the winter. Last year when it warmed up it was bogging REALLY bad. It has some clutch problems (e.g, grooved clutch weights) and I was wondering if that's the cause or if I need to look at something else. (Note: I just restored this last winter, so i got the carb all cleaned/adjusted, so I'm sure its not that)

i have an 84 excel 340. it runs perfectly when i’m not moving it around or lifting it, but when i lift either end of the sled it will bog out and die. same thing when i start to move and turn. i just went through the carbs, new plugs, good compression. i don’t know what to do.

My Firs Arctic Cat Looking, For 2007 F1000LXR Owners Manual

Looking to purchase a owners manual for 2007 F1000lXR, no luck anywhere. I have been riding continually since 1970, now 86 and use a cane, still riding Bought this great looking Cat. Not a speed demon any more. My fastest was a Yamaha Apex, clocked at a sanctioned 1/4 mile stirp at 123mph, amazing for such a heavy sled. Any help on a owners manual would be great . Painting Snowmobile Hood

So i have a 2008 polaris rmk 600. And im looking into repainting the hood. I was thinking about sanding it down, putting primer on it and using krylon spray paint to paint it and then just put a clear coat with hardener on it.
Thoughts??

Polaris Indy 600 wont start

Hi guys. Im new to snowmobiling. Just bought my first two sleds.

One of the sleds wont start and I'm having trouble troubleshooting it. I just took the carb off and cleaned it out following this video. I also replaced the battery. When start via the electric start, I get a loud "clank" and then nothing. I think the starter might be gone. If I pull it, the engine turns, but nothing. Any suggestions?

So I have a 1994 artic cat 580 ext mountian cat which I just replaced the throttle cable on. After i fired it up it ran for a few then died. Now it dont have spark i am kinda clueless except maybe the kill switch got messed up when i was working on getting old cable.out of handle bars. Replace drive & jackshaft bearings - 1995 Polaris XLT Touring

I'm working on maintenance for my new to me XLT - next step is replacing all of the wheel bearings and going to replace the driveshaft and jackshaft bearings while I've got the skid out anyway.

My sled has reverse. Do I need to disconnect anything besides the reverse before before removing the chaincase cover to get at the bearings?

Obviously there are additional gears inside the chaincase compared to my previous sleds that didn't have reverse, but assuming it's the same process as any...
