From stretch marks to swimwear - my journey to feeling comfortable in my own skin

Everyone has their own starting point and their own motivation. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it works for you as an individual. What motivates one person may reduce the motivation of another person. My starting point: getting my first tummy stretch mark. I have had them on my hips since I was about 12, so never thought anything of them, until a few days ago when I was looking in the mirror and saw a 2 inch purple stretch mark near my belly button. That was the final straw/final stretch mark! My motivation: My girlfriend is incredible athletic (figure-wise) and i'm tired of being/feeling frumpy all the time. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to build tone/muscle.

So here's a bit about me...

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Height: 5ft7in

Diet plan: SlimFast and fruit/nut smoothies

Exercise plan: 4/5x a week gym, 3x a week swimming, walking the dog once or twice a day (at least 30 minutes brisk walking)

Start Weight: 198lb

Goal Weight: 130lb

Weight to lose: 68lb

Biggest insecurity: My hips/stomach area

Something I'm happy with: My chest (boobs)


Goal: 30th January 2016

Reason for time of goal: My 21st birthday, I am going to New York with my girlfriend :)


Targets: Take pictures every other Sunday, post weights every Sunday, post measurements on the first day of each month
