Green Smoothie Inspiration: Andrea Fredrick Lithonia, Georgia
I originally started drinking green smoothies in early January 2012, because I noticed I had a lack of energy and I wanted to lose weight. Since then, I have lost 60 pounds. I am maintaining my weight loss, and my goal is to lose 25 more pounds.

Green smoothies have given me a lot of energy. Before I started drinking green smoothies, I didnt want to walk even one mile. Now, Im able to walk five miles and I run up to two miles every day. I love green smoothies!
Every day I drink three green smoothies, each in an eight ounce glass. This is my typical smoothie recipe:
1 banana
1 cup of strawberries
1 carrot
1 tablespoon of flax seed
1 tablespoon of chia seed
1 cup of spinach
6 ounces of yogurt
My family has noticed my weight loss and how green smoothies have helped me, and have they have started to drink green smoothies too!
