Can't start it!

I know nothing about sleds but bought a 97 cat 580 EFI last yr..took it to the dealership they went through it an it ran great for the 30 min I ran it last year then put iton trailer put stable in tank and now I can pull the cord more than 4 inches..its stuck and I am worried I will snap the cord
