A Standing Ovation For Me?

I know I'm that incredibly good looking so I always deserve a standing ovation. Thank you. I appreciate it?

:D

Just kidding.

I joined this site not to read up on fads but because I need support from time to time. I suffer from clinical depression and that makes it really discouraging for me to try to lose weight.

I'm not a big believer in diets and dieting.

But I have recently started some exercise with a friend of mine and his brother.

They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Newcomer from Italy

Dear All!

My name is Robert. I'm from Italy. I'm 40 years old.

3 days ago I started a diet with the goal to lose 88lbs (40 kg) in one year.

I think this is my diet nr. 20 or 30... I don't remember, because it seems I am the whole life doing diets. But still weight problems. The Yo-Yo effect is very difficult to solve.

Now I started to convince me, that I am not doing a diet... I'm CHANGING my lifestyle. I MUST change my lifestyle and find a balance betwen food, sport, work, stress, etc.

I started a blog "The Battle of 40 Kg" http://ift.tt/1Ixx35J in order to keep a Diary of all my activities, improvements ... and mistakes.

I hope all these things would help me to transorm the word DIET in HEALTY LIFESTYLE => diet for the whole life but without sacrifice... :-)

I wish to all memebers a goos and healty weight loss.

Kind regards.

Robert

The fastest way to weight loss in 3 weeks

Losing weight in a short space of time has always been thought of as a near impossible task. For years, doctors and dietitians have told the public that it takes months and sometimes even years of hard work to see any progress with weight loss, or to sculpt the perfect body. But that is simply not true at all. Find out which these natural ingredients are by reading this.

The Battle of 40 Kg

Dear All.

Monday July 27th afternoon, a Doctor (expert in metabolic problems) told me, that I suffer for metabolic syndrome. He warned me that NOW is the last chance to change my lifestyle in order to avoid further problems like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, etc....

My weight was 128 kg (ca. 282lb), abdominal circumference 128 cm (50 inch), with BMI 36.2..... I am 188 cm (74 inch) tall...

I decided deeply in my heart to start CHANGING my lifestyle (food, sport activities, work, hobbies,...). I declared the battle to my 40 Kg .

I opened also a blog to have a Diary of all activities I will do, in order to WIN my battle against my weight.
http://ift.tt/1Ixx35J

I hope to share my experience with users, which have similar problems.

Who started a diet in past days?

Kind regards.

Robert

What I find makes fat loss easy

Losing weight is surprisingly easy now once you know how. I started off as a fat kid who began a life long pursuit to get in the best possible shape of my life. I have spent countless hours reading books, watching documentaries, taking college courses, working at a gym and a supplement store, lifting weights, and reading scientific journals. I have been a personal trainer for over 8 years and I work as a sleep technologist. I can attest to the mountains of misleading information that is out there. I would like to share with you what I have found makes losing weight easy.

1. Eliminate added sugars. (Most sugars, excluding lactose, contain fructose. Fructose is metabolically a toxin to the human body. Chronic over consumption will lead to obesity and metabolic syndrome.)

2. Eliminate packaged foods. (Most packaged foods contain added sugars/fats. They have to be fortified with vitamins because they are devoid of true nutrition. They lack all of the flavonoids and phytonutrients that prevent diseases and modulate gene expression. Many of these phytonutrients have a huge impact on fat loss through angiogenesis.)

3. Eat only nutritious whole foods. This includes fruits and vegetables, whole wheat, long grain rice, potatoes, eggs, and nuts.

4. Eliminate dairy products. (Milk's purpose is to be the perfect food for a baby cow to gain weight. It is not something that is meant for weight loss. Many milk products are very high in fat. Milk contains over 50 biologically active hormones that encourage the growth of cancer. These hormones range from estrogen and interleukin 6, to IGF-1.)

5. Eliminate Trans fat. (Trans fat has been removed from many foods, but it still persists in hidden forms. You will see on a nutrition label "partially hydrogenated oils". These are Trans fats that are not listed in the Trans fat section of the nutrition label. They are just as harmful, and are toxic to your health.)

6. Track your calories. (Most people have no idea how many calories they eat on a daily basis. I recommend tracking your calories till you get an idea of how many you consume on average. If your goal is strictly weight loss, it is imperative that you do.)

7. Get plenty of sleep. (Scientific studies show that people who have a short sleep duration, 6 hours or less, have higher levels of the hormone ghrelin. Ghrelin is the hormone responsible for telling your body when you are hungry. During your last sleep cycle of the night, after 7 hours of sleep, is when your body releases the most testosterone it will experience in a 24 hour period. Promoting natural levels of testosterone production is very beneficial for fat loss. Getting plenty of sleep will also insure that you have enough rest and energy to exercise properly.)

8. Create a calorie deficit. (I NEVER reduce my calorie intake below my basal metabolic rate and I highly recommend you do not either. Reducing your calorie intake below your BMR will cause your body to down regulate it's metabolism to survive on less calories. Decreasing your food intake will signal to your body that food is scarce, and it will try to keep you alive through survival mechanisms. This is what is commonly referred to as "starvation mode". Creating a calorie deficit through only exercise however will insure that you never reach a fat loss plateau. This is absolutely crucial if you want a defined physique. Creating ONLY a calorie deficit from exercise is a must. By creating the calorie deficit through exercise, you are creating the deficit through burning more calories rather than taking in less. This will keep you feeling alert and energetic from your exercise program. If you wish to understand the biochemical process behind this, I suggest you research the thyroid hormones T3 and T4.)

9. Forget the scale. (Most people are focused on their weight. This is very arbitrary and misleading for the purpose of fat loss. When someone begins a weight loss program, they will have a significant drop in weight in the first couple weeks. This is primarily because of water weight that is associated with glycogen stores. Glycogen stores are the stored version of blood sugar inside your muscles and liver. This stored sugar has a tendency to cling to lots of water. As you burn off that stored energy, a lot of water goes with it, and your weight will drop. For the purpose of improving your health or physique, this actually is not a good thing. It's a better idea to focus on body measurements or your reflection in a mirror.)

10. Riding a bicycle (I find this is the most effective form of exercise at burning calories in any given period of time. To burn 300 calories from running I would have to jog at least 3 miles. Many people can not do this. To burn 300 calories from cycling I would only have to ride my bike 9 miles. Most people can do this regardless of their weight. It is also a very enjoyable form of exercise that can have practical applications. I may be somewhat biased since I am a competitive cyclist and triathlete however. In about 2 hours of cycling I can burn 1800 calories. That is equal to a half pound of body fat. No amount of weight lifting or running can realistically burn as many calories for the average person.)

Let your medicine be your food, and your food be your medicine.

Desperate to help

My name is Ethan Wilson and I have been a fitness enthusiast for a decade. I became a personal trainer 8 years ago and I work as a sleep technologist. I joined this forum because I am outraged at how much misleading information is perpetuated by the government, food industry, and the fitness industry. It is so incredibly easy to lose weight, that the only reason people fail is because of misinformation. If people knew how to lose weight, thepackaged food industry would be out of business.

I am here to offer free advice to anyone who wants to make a permanent change in their life.

Feeling awsome--> Loading

Hi all

I am new in this forum but not at all new in struggling with weight loss.
I never had too much weight to lose, which is exactly why i get so mad at myself
for quitting so many times! I've been in various sizes and kilograms in my life, most of the times
around 5-7 kilos up from my ideal weight.
I have managed to come very close to my dream kilos (57 kg) through dieting and ecersising but always quit 2-3 kilos before i get there
and then gradually eat my way up the scale again.

I am an emotional eater and a bored eater. If i am sad or mad or bored i eat (and i don't eat carrots).
I currently am in my day 3 of my let's hope last weight loss jurney. I've been doing power yoga and walking for the past 6 months
which has helped in not gaining as much as i would if i didn't excersize.

I need to add that i live with my boyfriend who is very supportive but is also one of those blessed people
with the huge apetite, gode sent metabolism, and insane endurance in excercise. Thus he eats a lot and often
and that tends to make me jealous and binge a little sometimes with him.

I think i might have posted the longest possible introduction post! So sorry!
I am looking to lose anywhere between 5-8 kilos. I don't have a specific number
because i DENY to weight in after the last few weeks. It will discourage me and i know it; i plan to weight in
after a few days of proper eating.
I look for support and motivation and someone to help me NOT quit if i ever get there again!

Thank you all in advance
Best of luck to all of us

Diet in a week reduces the 7 km in a healthy and safe

This is a diet in a week reduces a lot of weight while it is this which reduces the weight of the body fat and therefore the formation of a new opportunity to be more difficult than the other diet programs and systems that reduce the weight of the fluid, for example. As long as the person is interested in following a healthy diet rich and poor dietary element high in fat and calories, this weight will not come back again.
The most important thing in this accursed it does not affect the overall health of the person adversely, as the diet of the diet is rich in essential nutrients to all organs of the body to do its part is required, so you should not be edited in the accursed or delete meals or foods present the program for every food goal in D the body is required for each body nutritional elements. In any case, I always recommend that you need to consult a specialist doctor about the suitability of the accursed, it was fit for a person is fit to time as sensitivity to certain foods or by his health and his body, it is Diet tough a bit so it's not recommended by Krgim for nursing mothers or pregnant. But factor in this accursed short as diet in one week, and that the best fit for all ages of both sexes and there is no need to take vitamins or food supplements as long as the physician did not mention it.

New to this!

Hello all. Name is Doug. Started eating "healthy" on April 1st. Weighed exactly 301.6 lbs. As of today, Im down to 217.4. That's a loss of 84.2 lbs in 4 months. Eating about 900 to 1100 calories and walking 3 miles a day. I take it one day at a time as I have lost weight before but once I go back to "bad eating" it goes right back on! It's a struggle but I am feeling MUCH better and my diabetes is totally under control. I love reading other posts about weight loss successes and if anyone can give me any advice (or wants to know how I'm doing it) just ask. My goal weight is to get down to 185lbs. Got to remember, it's just "a day at a time"!

Please Help a newcomer on a diet plan (breakfast)

I'm currently 220lb, 5 ft 7in, and 21 years old college student. Because my classes start at 8 am in the morning, I can't spend much time on preparing food. I'm targeting to lose about 80 lb in about 6-7 months.

I hear that oatmeal is good, but then I also hear that the instant ones aren't that healthy, and dealing with cooking (in the morning only) is something I would try to avoid as much as possible. So I was wondering if one grapefruit and a low-fat Greek yogurt is enough for breakfast. For the coming semester, my schedules are much empty during afternoon, thus I tend to finish my last class at about 1 pm. So I'll be needing about 5 hours without feeling hungry.

I'm also planning on taking vitamin B in the morning as well as 3 cups of green tea per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). I faintly remember hearing from a doctor that my body needs supplementary support for good metabolism. Green tea, I just happened to find about its effect on metabolism during I was surfing online.

In addition, I would start my first 2 weeks of diet with a light-pace walk or jogging for 30 mins, then would start to target at about 3 miles a day.

Please let me know. I've thought of losing weight for numerous times, but they all resulted in failure, and I have never felt more dedicated than I am now. I want to make this dedication my last chance and never having to quit again.

Much appreciation in advance.

Eating before bed?

So I'm new to the forum, and i came here because i have a question that was sparked after reading an article online about how sleeping habits affect weight gain etc. (http://ift.tt/1DbRQv9)

So in this article, it says that irregular eating habits can affect how you are sleeping and thus your weight. I just want to say that i work a lot. I am working 12-14 hour days 6 days a week and i work a lot at night during meal times, so i dont usually get to eat dinner until around 10:00 and then i go to bed at around midnight. So my question is that recently i have been having a lot of trouble sleeping recently and i am gaining weight, and ive heard before that eating really late at night is unhealthy, and so i was wondering if someone could help clarify this subject on how eating late can affect your sleep and weight?

Loosing 15kg in 10 months

Hi guys,
Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place, im new to forums like this and i couldnt seem to find a questions section.
So i am a 22 year old female and due to college and comfort eating over the last few years iv gained a bit more weight than id like. I am about 5 foot 4 (165cm) and i now weight 63kg, though i do a lot of marital arts so I have quite a lot of muscle, meaning that, while i dont look skinny, i dont look chubby either, just a lot more bulky than i would like.
Anyway, my aim is to weigh 50kg by the end of May 2016, but i dont know how to go about it really. Iv been trying to loose weight for years and i can get the first kg or two off but its very slow going and i loose my motivation very quickly. So I am hoping ye could help me out with any tips and tricks that have worked for ye.
I currently attend two karate classes (about 90 minutes each) a week and i walk 5 days a week for 40 minutes. So i think my diet is the real issue that i will need to address.

Anyways, if ye have an tips or advice i would really appreciate it!

How To Eat More And Still Lose Weight!

Yes you can eat more and still lose weight. There’s no need to go hungry when you are trying to reduce weight.

Nutritionists and health coaches are calling it an alternative to traditional diets. They are calling it eating healthy or crowding out.

So let’s find out, how you can eat more and still lose weight:

1. Don’t Skip Breakfast

Always start your day with a healthy and well-balanced breakfast that includes protein-rich foods including whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A high protein breakfast will help to control your appetite all day.

Breakfast is the key for your metabolic engine and a successful weight loss. Even when you are in a hurry, choose a quick and tasty breakfast.

2. Eat Healthier Foods

The important thing to remember is to eat healthier foods and then ease into it. There will be an adjustment on your part, but when you eat simply and healthier your cravings will eventually change.

You will then form new eating habits. Start small by using olive oil when cooking, using garlic, salt and pepper instead of a rich sauce and using avocado instead of a salad dressing.

3. Snacking

Keep a well-timed and healthy snack options to avoid that late afternoon crash and overeating at meal time. A healthy but high in calorie snacks like dried fruit and nuts should be consumed in small amounts.

4. Crowd Out But Don’t Pile On

Avoid just adding healthy foods into your regular meal consumption, as this can result in overeating. Choose healthy options instead for your favorite snacks and meals.

A good example is having a baked sweet potato instead French fries.

5. Have Something Sweet

Add a sweet-tasting food into your main course to ward off urges for sugary desserts. Add some pear or apple into your salad to make you feel more satisfied minus the cravings.

Why it is more difficult to loss weight from dieting.

The researchers from Kings College Cambridge looked at ten years worth of data from 278,982 people in the UK health records and determined that women in the 'obese' BMI category have a 1 in 124 chance of reducing their BMI to the 'healthy' BMI range, or a 1 in 677 chance if they are 'severely obese'.

A man with an 'obese' BMI has a 1 in 210 chance of achieving a BMI in the 'healthy' range. This becomes a 1 in 1,290 chance if he's 'severely obese'.

Hello friends

How are you?

Bugs weightloss diary

I'm not entirely certain how this is supposed to work, or if there even is a certain way so for now I'm just gonna do this how I want.

Hello, my nickname in real life is Bug so you can all call me that, or my real name is Bridget. I am 23 years old and I weight 210-215 depending on the day. My immediate goal is to get down to 150, once I reach that, I will then decide if I want to be smaller. Size isn't my only concern, don't get me wrong, I want to have a smoking hot body, but I also want to be healthy which is why I have quit smoking (7 months cig free, woot woot!!)

I do 30 minutes of tae bo 6 days a week (I work 14 hours on Sunday's so I give myself Sunday's off)

It's not much, I know, but it's a start!

My biggest issue is actually that I don't eat enough calories every day (1,000-1,500) which is why I never understood why I am overweight to begin with. I've been told that my body thinks there is a food shortage so it stores EVERYTHING. I am NOT starving myself, I just don't have an appetite, I almost never feel hungry, I usually just eat when its *time* for dinner. I have talked to my doctor and she's sure that I'm just "ignoring" my hunger pains and insists that I'm healthy other than being overweight.

I can assure you, I am not ignoring anything.

I've decided to start packing a salad for lunch everyday for work, I saw somewhere that kale burns fat so I'll be using kale. Is it really *that* bad to top it with ranch? I mean salad with ranch is better than McDonald's, right?? And I'm makin myself eat breakfast when I wake up, even if it's just a yoghurt cup and a banana. This is a big step for me since I typically eat one meal a day

Also, the "don't eat after 8pm" thing doesn't really work for me. I go into work at 4pm and get off at 3am. Dinner time for me is somewhere around 10-11pm.

I'm also working on quitting pop, which is a struggle because I get free, unlimited fountain pop at work *sigh*

New member from the UK

Hello all.

Firstly, are there any members on here from the UK or am i in the wrong place? If you read this and you are from the states you will need to translate (like mum = mom :) )

I just came to offer/receive support for the weight loss journeys.

My story is that i am 24 years old, Male and im from Scotland. I have been fat since i was about 10 years old (sneaking sweets and cakes when mum wasnt looking).

I started to get depressed and hated myself. After about 13 years of bullying, not being able to participate with games that friends would play, and not having the confidence to speak to girls, i decided enough was enough and started dieting.

At my heaviest when the realisation happened, i was 33 stone (about 462 pounds).

At the moment while typing this I weight about 14.5 stone (about 200 pounds).

So i have lost about 18.7 stone (about 262 pounds).

It was an absolute struggle and was not easy, but my goodness im glad i came to my senses. Life has changed immensely.

Please dont mistake me, i have not come on here just for praise, or to get noticed, it is to get advice on a healthy lifestyle and to help support and advise others. If i can answer one question or help one person with a query then it was worth my while signing up :)

The only downside of my journey, is that i have been left with some unsightly sagging skin. However, next tuesday after a battle to be accepted, i go into have it removed. I am both nervous and excited in equal measures.

Anyways, thats my story to date. Thanks for having me and hopefully will get to know some of you :)

Thanks, Kev.

The Best Way To Lose Weight!(Drop 5 Pounds in a Week)

Kelsy has come up with a fat-torching plan that really will subtract up to 5 pounds from your bod in seven days — without starvation, bizarre supplements, or cutting out entire food groups. How? It's all about small sacrifices combined with specific techniques. And rather than giving you a one-size-fits-all regimen, we figure you're more likely to stick with the plan if you pick the eating and exercise strategies that fit your lifestyle.

So choose at least four of the nutritionist- and fitness expert-backed tips that follow, and vow to work them into your schedule for seven days straight. If you feel ambitious, tack on a few more. The more you pick, the more weight you'll lose. If you start now, by this time next week, you'll look and feel way lighter.

Drink Mainly Water

A sports or energy drink, fruit smoothie, or light beer — each serving contains about 100 calories. Yet these beverages don't satisfy you the way 100 calories of food does, so they're a waste. Other liquids may be high in sodium and carbohydrates, which trick your body into retaining water, puffing you out.

Water, on the other hand, has zero calories and carbs and little to no sodium, making it the perfect slim-down drink. And strangely, it actually helps flush out excess water weight as well as jump-starts your metabolism. If it's just too boring, add lemon wedges or mint leaves.

Ban White Bread and Pasta

Cutting out all white grain products — such as white rice, spaghetti, sandwich rolls — will instantly slim you down because the simple carbs in these foods cause bloating, especially around your belly. "Simple carbohydrates wreak havoc on your weight because they're digested very quickly, leaving you hungry and more likely to overeat later," says Jana Klauer, M.D., author of The Park Avenue Nutritionist's Plan.

To go a step further, instead of replacing them with healthier yet still bloat-triggering whole-grain bread products, substitute vegetables for the week. This way, a chicken sandwich becomes chicken salad, and chips and dip turn into carrots and dip. The complex carbs from vegetables are digested more slowly, so you remain full longer. And because veggies are mostly water, they also help flush out excess water weight.

Do Cardio 30 Minutes a Day

Any workout that gets your heart rate up will burn calories. But you'll use more calories if you pick a cardio routine that engages multiple muscles simultaneously, says Wendy Larkin, personal-training manager at Crunch's Polk Street gym, in San Francisco.

Three to consider: spinning, cardio kickboxing, and boot-camp workouts. Half an hour of each torches 200 to 300 calories while toning up your arms, legs, and core so everything appears sleeker and tighter.

You'll burn even more calories per session if your workout incorporates interval training: alternating short bursts of intense cardio with slower activity. Experts aren't sure why it works, but trainers swear by it.

Drink Coffee an Hour Before Working Out

This is the one exception to the stick-to-water-only rule: Just as a coffee run makes your morning at work more productive, a pre-exercise cup of java with a splash of skim milk (about 11 calories) or black (just 5 calories) will energize your workout, explains Dr. Klauer. "You'll burn more calories without realizing you're pushing yourself harder."

Have Nightly You-on-Top Sex

Not that you needed an excuse to hook up with your guy every night, but the fact is, this position is a fat blaster. Being on top means you do the rocking, and the more active you are, the more calories you burn — up to 144 for 30 minutes.

Sex also pumps levels of feel-good neurotransmitters, endorphins, helping you ride out food cravings. Get on top in reverse-cowgirl (i.e., facing away from your guy) to give your thigh and butt muscles an extra push.

Do 36 Push-Ups and Lunges Every Other Day

These gym-class staples will help sculpt muscle, so you'll sport a more streamlined appearance. Do three sets of 12 of each exercise every other day. "Push-ups target your upper body, while lunges work your butt, hips, and thighs," says Larkin. Quick tip: Make sure your back and legs remain in a straight line during your push-ups; it'll improve muscle tone. Also, you can build even more muscle with the lunges if you hold free weights in each hand while doing them.

Sleep 30 Minutes More a Night

That extra half an hour, whether you sleep 5 hours or 8, can refresh you enough that you will make better food choices (in other words, no quick sugar fix for breakfast in search of energy) and won't feel lethargic and skip the gym, says registered dietician Esther Blum, author of Eat, Drink, and Be Gorgeous. More restful sleep (7 to 8 hours is best) also boosts your metabolism. And since your body builds muscle while you snooze, getting zzz's equals better muscle tone.

Make One Food Sacrifice

Cutting out one indulgence — such as the chips you have with lunch or the chocolate dessert you eat after dinner — can subtract a few hundred calories from your diet, which translates into less flab, says Blum. "Your body won't even notice their absence."

Don't Let the Camera Add Pounds

Push your chin forward, hold your arms away from your body, and turn slightly sideways from the camera with one foot in front of the other.

GET THINNER IN HOURS

Really. These slenderizing effects may not be permanent, but they'll help you look hotter in your skinniest jeans on very short notice.

Eat Salmon for Lunch

It's packed with nutrients that build muscle tone and give your skin a healthy glow. Some nutritionists claim that consuming a portion (doesn't matter how it's cooked) may immediately make your face look a bit more contoured.

Stand Up Straight

Keeping your spine rigid and your shoulders back while sucking in your belly toward your spine gives you a slimmer, more streamlined middle.

Do Squats and Sit-Ups

Bodybuilders use this technique before competitions because it adds definition to muscle. Do three sets of 12 of each exercise to tighten your abs, butt, and legs temporarily.

Pop an Antigas Pill

Take one of these chewable tablets, sold over-the-counter at drugstores, to relieve bloating in your abdomen and break up gas bubbles in your digestive track, leaving you with a flatter tummy.

Personalized Weight Loss Program

For one year, I have been maintaining my ideal weight. I only needed to lose 10lbs. and I did it by following a personalized program based on my body's metabolism (this was measured with a total body scanner). I ate four times a day (breakfast, lunch, pm snack, dinner) with meal replacements for breakfast and snack. I followed a 1000 calorie per day meal plan, by the way, but was able to experience sustained energy throughout the day.

Tired of being FAT

Hello! I am a 23 year old woman, married with no children (unless cats count!)
I want to lose about 70 pounds, but I don't just want the number on the scale to get smaller, I want to lose FAT and I want to be HEALTHY. My husband has also been putting on weight (I don't care, I love him no matter what he looks like) and wants to lose weight too. On the first of the month we are planning to get a gym membership, but we really need to change our eating habits as well, and that's what's most difficult for us. I joined this group for advice, but most importantly SUPPORT. I've tried losing weight before and it starts off good but then I either plateau and get discouraged, or quiet honestly, I get lazy and give up. I recently downloaded an app on my phone (based on the rules I don't think I'm allowed to say which one) but it costs $30 a year, I thought if I spent real money it would motivate me to stay disciplined but sadly I am still finding myself forgetting to use it, and eating things I shouldn't. I figured if I joined a forum like this then when I feel like giving up I can get on here and have the support and push I need to keep going! I know this probably makes me sound like the laziest person in the world, but I think I really need to be honest and put myself out there in order for this to work. Thank you for allowing me to join, and for reading my ridiculously long post. I look forward to interacting with all of you!

You Think These Foods are Healthy! Think Again!

Hey,

I know there are plenty of food items we think might be healthy for us but they are not. You might be eating them thinking they are good for you but in fact they are keeping you from reaching your weight loss goals.

The foods I am about to list are full of fat, and not the good kind of fat, mind you! They have high levels of sodium, saturated fat and have additives that can undermine your health. Here they are:

• Coleslaw
• Frostings
• Packed Sandwiches
• Multigrain Products
• Sugary Cereals
• Diet Soda
• Margarine
• Packed Fruit Juices

I know you might have these in your fridge but you MUST throw these out and never bring them back if you want to lose weight and stay healthy! These foods lead to heart diseases, diabetes and hypertension.

Romulo

Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired

Hey everyone!

I am a 39-year-old, single white female, who has been in a very emotionally abusive relationship for three years. As a result of that, I have gained almost 100 pounds, and I HAVE to lose it. I had gastric banding in 2006, and I have a history of gout, diverticulitis, and kidney stones. So, I have dietary restrictions that I can't seem to surmount on my own. I just bought an elliptical machine, because I can't do high-impact exercise at this weight. I am sick and tired all the time, and I need help. I need information, support, encouragement, and motivation. I want my life back!

I'm glad to be here. :waving:

The term superfoods has been used more than ever. There should be some discrepancy as to what classifies as a superfood and what is a regular food.

How fast did you loose inches? Dress size?

Hi Everyone! I am excited to belong to this forum. I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Rachael and I have over 100 pounds to loose. I am a new mom, my baby is now 7 weeks old. My current goal is just get away from 300 pounds. I wanted to know how fast you all lost inches/ dress sizes. I have a goal that in 3 months I will be 3 dress sizes smaller, however I do not know if that is setting me up for failure. I wear a size 22, dress size 24. I would like to be in a size 20 by October for our 5 year anniversary. I am aware because I am more overweight that technically I should drop inches quicker. So do overweight people go from a size 24 to 20 fairly quickly?

Looking forward to your responses!

Best,
Rachael

Small waist tips

Before I get into my actual topic, I just want to say that my username is a bit misleading. When I made this account, I was suffering from an eating disorder, so I was not mentally in the best state. But I would just like to say that I am looking for totally healthy methods of weight and fat loss.

Now, on to my real topic. I am wanting to get a little bit of a smaller waist. Just about everyone says that I am tiny but I am not quite happy with my waistline. Basically I am just looking for some tips on how to lose some of the fat around my belly and waist.

Vicious circle with PCOS - yo-yoing without Metformin

Hello,

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2012 and was put on Metformin which I took until this April.

I have always been a pretty clean eater who avoids fast food and sodas but I hadn't lost a pound until I basically started not eating anything other than vegetables and fruits and a little bit of meat. No pasta, potatoes or anything. My heaviest was 220 lbs (I'm only 5'3") and lost 30 lbs but the weight loss has stopped and my weight remained at 190 lbs for 2 years. I've ended up with a yo-yo effect between 185 and 200 lbs since I stopped Metformin a few months ago. The reason why I stopped taking it was that my labs were so good that my doctor said I no longer needed it. I'm currently in Germany where Metformin is only given to diabetics and I, as a pre-diabetic with good lab results, won't qualify for it and Metformin is not a weight loss supplement anyway. My American doc argued that Metformin does help weight loss with PCOS. In addition, it is not something your body can get used to and it's not like you would have to up the dosage with time. I don't know which one is true but anyway, I didn't want to take meds so I stopped taking Metformin. I gained 12 lbs in a week right after stopping taking Metformin and in spite of dieting, I've been struggling with a yo-yo effect ever since. I'd lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks and if I eat something other than what I normally eat (when I'm on a trip, for instance), I'll gain it back in a week and it's not like my eating is out of control. In order to gain 12 lbs a week, I would have to eat 12 x 7000kcal excess calories, which I know I don't. What is going on with my body? How can I get rid of yo-yoing?

I have seen multiple professionals including a dietitian but based on the portion-controlled, calorie-counting diet she prescribed, I cannot lose weight.

I've noticed 2 things:
- if I eat food that contains wheat, potatoes or anything of that sort, I gain weight even though I eat under 1,300 kcal a day and it kind of affects my mood.
- if I don't take my Metformin, it is impossible to shed any pounds, maintaining my weight is definitely more difficult.

What I noticed is that a paleoish diet works slowly but I don't like meat at all and I'd often eat meat substitutes like beans.

I've been contemplating whether starting on Metformin again would stop this yo-yoing but I'm only 28 years old and wouldn't like to take meds.

Any suggestions?

Sixpack

What's the best way to lose fat and get a sixpack?

Hello from Malaysia!

Hey everyone,

Newbie here! I've lost 22 pounds and have struggled with binge eating for about 10 years. I've still got a couple of pounds to go, but the learning never ends.

I'm looking forward to supporting and being supported :)

xo.

Dare to be Fearless

I'm back.

No big surprise there. I can list all the reasons for why I fell off the wagon; I can say I was busy, I was tired, I got sick and was on medication that only made me feel worse. And it'd all be true. But then, it'd also be an excuse, and I'm just about done with those. Excuses are great... until they're not; until they become your answer to everything in life. Until you're so far gone, that you're making excuses for excuses, and eventually you simply run out. There are no more excuses to be made. I've reached rock bottom, and after mucking about for years, the only way I plan to go is up.

I've come to realize that my life thus far has been nothing more than wasted potential, and at the very root of this problem is my lack of self confidence. I care too much about what others think, and not enough about what I think of myself. I've put their priorities over my own, and I've let so much of my life be dictated by fear and self consciousness, that I no longer had control of it. And that is where all the weight came in.... I didn't go out because I didn't want to be seen by others, food became my friend, and my bed was always where I felt safest. But the thing is, I don't want to live like that anymore. I mean, who does? Can that even be considered living, or am I just alive for the sake of being alive?

I want to feel safest in my own body - not when hidden under covers - and in order to do that, I have to take back control of it.

My body is sacred, and it's the only one I've got in this life. I need to treat it with the respect it deserves, because if I can't respect my own body, how can I ever hope to respect myself as a person? And yet it goes both ways; I have to respect myself, if I ever hope to respect my body. The abuse I've put myself throughout the years shows, physically and mentally, and I have to work on both if I ever want to be the person I know I can be.

I'm jumping in, head first. Like ripping off a bandage, I'm going to be aggressive about it. I've done the slow work up, and while it's led to minor results, it was so easy for me to just fall back into old routines. I need that wake up call, that drastic change. It's going to suck, it's going to hurt, and I'm going to hate it at first. But my body will adapt, and so too, will hopefully my outlook. I hope to supplement this diary through pictures and videos, in order to give me something to look back on and see how far I've progressed. Words are nice, and a great way to keep accountable on a day-to-day basis, but you can't see the change. I want to know what I looked like and what my fitness was like at each stage; before, after, and everything in between.

I have goals, of course - both short term and long. Long term obviously would be to scale down to an appropriate weight for my size (which would require me to lose 30+lbs) and to improve my overall fitness, and I'm giving myself a full year on that (from which I would then work on maintaining, and continuing to improve my physical health). My short term goals, for the moment, include my sister's wedding in October, and then a 5k run on Thanksgiving day. They're both extreme motivators for me, and I don't plan selling myself short with either. I refuse to give into my inhibitions, and I refuse to hand back power over to fear.

I've seen failure, I've lived it. And now I want to see what it's like to succeed.

This is How You Stay Focused on Your Weight Loss Goals!

Dear,

The reason why most people fail in their weight loss goals is because they lose focus of what they set out to achieve and give in to their cravings. There is nothing more important than staying motivated towards your goals.

Know why you started on this journey towards health and fitness. Health is wealth and if you don’t have a healthy body, nothing around you will matter as you will not be able to fully enjoy it.

Stay focused because there are many instances where you will be pulled away from your goals and get into overeating. Enjoy your food, but in moderation. Give yourself a treat once a week with your favorite food items, a reward for your hard work.

Rewarding yourself will keep you motivated towards another week of hard workouts and proper healthy meal plans.

Till next time my friend, take care!

Best regards,

Beware of this Myth!

Hey,

Have you ever been told to eat raw eggs? If so, do not listen to what that person has to say.

This is a myth that started from the movie Rocky, where he eats raw eggs to prepare for his big boxing match.

For a long time, it was thought that raw eggs are better than cooked or boiled eggs but now doctors and researchers believe that eggs should be cooked before consumption.

Eggs are the best and purest source of protein for your body and having them raw because cooking might damage the nutrients is like saying eating raw meat is better than cooked, but it is not!

Hard boiling an egg is the best way to consume an egg without causing any damage to its nutrients. It will still have all the best qualities it should. So, cook your eggs before eating and don’t give into this myth!

Till next time, take care!

Don’t Like Going to the Gym? Build Your Own Gym!

Hey there!

I will be telling you how you can build your own gym at home. You don’t need all those huge machines you see in the gym to train and build your muscles.

Not to worry, it won’t cost you thousands of dollars!

The basic equipment you need is as follows:

- Jump Rope (Best for indoors cardio!)
- Set of Dumbbells with Set of Weights (You can get used ones at low prices!)
- Barbell (Get it if you have a weight bench for doing bench press)
- Pull-up Bar (Essential for building upper body strength!)
- Cushion (To provide cushion for your knees)
- Weight Bench (Optional as you can do Dumbbell exercises on the floor too!)
- Treadmill (Only if you don’t want to go outside or don’t have anywhere nearby for jogging)

Start by doing the basic/beginner’s workout routine to build your body’s strength and work your way towards intermediate levels.

Till we meet again! Take care!

There are fitness centers that evaluate your body’s muscular strength, composition, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance.

However, these can be really pricey so I give you a simple program to test your fitness level. Something you can easily do in your house!

- Pushups – If you can do more than 20 easily, then your muscular endurance and strength is good

- Crunches – If you can do more than 30, then you have good core strength

Track your scores and save them for next month. Compare results each month and you will see how well your progress is. If you are improving, you are on the right track!

25kg of fat to shift - Hobbio's Journey

So, here's me. I'm male, 38, 174cm (5'8 1/2") tall, British and too fat.

I'm currently sat at 102.6kg, which is about 225lb. I need to be somewhere around 77kg, which is about 170lb. The astute amongst you will have realised that I need to lose about 25% of my bodyweight!

I measure my weight in kilos, so if you want to know lbs just multiply it by 2.2.

4 years ago I was 85kg, a lot fitter as I trained weights and cardio and I carried a fair bit more muscle. Not bodybuilder big, but enough to show through the fat. These days I've lost the muscle, fitness and I'm weak as a kitten.

I stopped smoking about 4 months ago, so that should help me with exercising.

I intend to lose the weight with dietary changes and training.

Wish me luck!

Am I eating enough?

In January after moving to Florida I decided to lose weight. I was 340 pounds and could not walk up more than one flight of stairs without feeling exhausted. I reduced my calorie intake and exercised at the gym and am down 68 pounds in 6 months. I look better and feel better but the weight loss has slowed down. I am 22 yes old and weigh 267 pounds now. I have changed my diet here and there but on average I eat 2000 calories per day. Sometimes as low as 1750 sometimes 2500. I work a fairly physical job and I estimate anywhere from 300 to 1000 calories burned in a work day. I also go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and do as much cardio and weight machines as I can. I burn 350 to 1000 calories at the gym. I eat breakfast and I eat lots of meats fruits and vegetables. No fast food. Should I eat more calories?. Is there anything else I should or should not be doing. I would like to be down to 225 in another 6 months. Also lately I've been worried because I've been feeling dizzy when standing up. It started happening right after I started taking garcinia and multivitamins. For now I have stopped with the supplements.

Want to Burn Fat at Home? This is How You Do It!

Hello!

You don’t have to go outside if you don’t want to. You can work out at home too.

The exercises I will be sharing with you are perfect to get your body’s fat burning process started by jump starting your metabolism!

Here they are:

Bodyweight Squats: These are a great for getting your heart rate higher and working all the muscles in the body. Perfect for a full body warm-up too!

Push-Ups: These can be performed with the hands or feet up on a chair or on the ground.

Chair dips: This exercise can be done on any chair you have around the house. Make sure the chair you are using is able to withstand your weight!

Mountain Climbers: This cardio movement will burn up calories and strengthen the core, all at once.

Pull-Ups: This is the ultimate upper body workout exercise. If you don’t have a pull-up bar, get one ASAP!

You must have noted these are bodyweight exercises. They are also perfect for beginners. Before you start lifting weights, begin with lifting your own weight.

Work hard, train hard, stay safe and healthy!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself and thank you all in advance for help and support!
I work 12 hour shifts (days or nights) in a stressful environment, and I've found over the past year I've put on some weight that I would love to lose. It's extremely hard to go home after working an exhausting shift and make myself hit the elliptical, so I'm hoping with an online support group pushing me along I'll make it happen. Plus kick those 3 am snack cravings that are never for carrots! Oh, and the Starbucks addiction. That one is going to have to go too.
I'm 5'6" and 165lbs (give or take a pound or two) right now, my target weight is 125lbs eventually.

Thanks again!

Susan's starting again

I've started and given up so many times. At one point I was 210lbs and my older sister's wedding was right around the corner. That was June several years ago, by the end of the following September I had lost 40lbs and I felt better about myself than I ever had. I've been heavy my entire life, for whatever reason. For a couple years after I lost the 40lbs I floated up 10-15lbs but never got over 185.

Then my parents divorced 3 months before my 21st birthday. A few months later I moved in with my dad because my mom and I were having issues. Shortly after that I started drinking. The summer before my final semester as an undergrad I drank 4-7 nights a week, by myself, hiding it from my dad. During that same time I was training for a half marathon. I lost about 10 of the pounds that drinking had put on me.

Five weeks away from my race (which was mod-September) I burned the bottom of my feet by walking across hot asphalt without shoes. It was November before the calluses on the balls of my feet were even remotely back to normal. The damage was done and I lost all of my motivation to run. My dad also was being forced to move from our home in Rhode Island to North Carolina for a new job.

That was about 3 years ago. My drinking got worse, I had an awful breakup, a crushing series of rejections from graduate schools, and an onset of severe anxiety.

One and a half years ago I met my current boyfriend and we moved in together about 4 months later. Being on my own, having a significant other who does not have healthy habits, and continuing to drink to excess have brought me to where I am today. I am 220lbs, stressed from my job, and freaking out about going to grad school in the Fall at the same school I went to undergrad for, being 30lbs heavier than I ever was during my previous four years there.

I'm so self conscious about how I look to other people that when I leave the house I am constantly worrying about how many people must look at me in utter disgust. I know that I brought this on myself. That is why I am finally getting a handle on my drinking, developing a plan to be at the gym 3 mornings a week before work (because I simply cannot go during the busy times...anxiety ends up chaining me to a walk on the treadmill). I am also going to ease myself back into running with a couch-to-5k app.

My goal is to be down 20lbs by the start of grad school, which is massive goal, but one I think I can accomplish. After that, my ultimate goal will to reach the 160s...a weight bracket I've never been in as an adult.

One day at a time.

Hi there

Hello all, new here (clearly). My name is Susan, I'm 25 years old and I'm going back to school the get my Master's degree in English this fall. A comedy of errors since moving in with my boyfriend about a year and a half ago have landed me at my heaviest weight since my first run at weight loss about 6 years ago. I'm 5'4" and currently weigh about 220lbs. I have been as low as 170, but things happen. I came here looking for a source of support and inspiration to not give up on myself, which I am very quick to do. My hope is to lose about 20lbs in my time left before starting graduate school and then continue the grind. I forsee needing that momentum because I'll be a full time student while maintaining a full time job.

I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Thanks for reading.

Hi friends

Hi guys, just saying hi and introducing myself. Look forward to getting to know you guys!

Hello.

Hi, I'm Claire. I'm 31 and live in New Zealand. I was originally 127kg and got down to 93kg while I was on maternity leave but since going back to work last year I have gained back 20kg. I stumbled across this forum while looking for some light bulb solution that might help me lose weight. I need to get fit and healthy for my now 2 year old son. I want to do all the motherly things with him but right now everything just hurts so much. Even just moving while sitting. Look at me ramble on but now at least you know a little bit about me. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Claire.

How do I prevent myself from regaining the weight I lost?

I started eating healthier and controlling my portions and I lost 30lbs in under a month while going on a run and doing yoga in the mornings before work. However this week I lost 3 pounds but gained back 4. I do not want to gain the weight that I had lost and I want to continue to lose weight. If anyone could give me some advice on how to keep off the weight while continuing to lose weight then that would be extremely appreciated :)

Hunger

How do you all deal with hunger? I've done the six small meals thing and the reality for me is my stomach is use to eating more and six small meals is not filling. I understand that trying to lose weight I'm going to have to adjust my intake and deal with this issue. I just wondered if anyone had any tips on how to deal with the hunger?

Misha's Diary

Hello! Im Misha! I currently weigh 290 lb, and I am only 20 years old! Sounds crazy, I know. It's hard to believe that I am almost 300 pounds. I decided that enough is enough. 300 is the limit. I'm not just doing this to look good, but to feel good about myself (although being able to buy clothes from Forever 21 is what I'm looking forward to the most). So! My goal is that a year from now I will weigh 140. That number seems so far away! It is! I think its 150 pounds! It's definitely going to be a struggle, but I know once I see results I am not going to want to stop.

The thing I most need to get under control is my eating habits. There have been points where I could eat a carton of ice cream in less than three sittings....or a small package of oreos in a day or two. That's not good. I also need to drink more water. Right now all I drink is when I'm eating. Having a bottle of water next to me at all times will definitely help with that. Anyways, I've done the math and In order to reach my goal I will have to lose almost 3 pounds per week, which as I understand is a little more than what is normally supposed to be lost. I won't get discouraged if I don't lose that exact amount each week, though.

I have a calorie tracker that I have begun to use and although it is sometimes tough to remember to use it, I will set a reminder on my phone! I am looking forward to hearing any tips or comments you have!

Hello :)

Hello! My name is Misha. I am 20 years old and living in Iowa. I am attending college to become an English teacher. I am morbidly obese (according to my doctor) and I'm looking to make a change in my life. Over the past year I have heard from family and friends, and most recently my boyfriend, that they would like to see me become more healthy. My mother and father over the past nine months have lost about 100 pounds between the two of them. I am living with them over the summer while I am not in school, so their diet has a heavy influence on me. I have all of the resources available to me, I just have lacked the control to take advantage of them. I am really looking for support from more people, and I would also like to help support people. So, here I am! I am looking forward to meeting everyone and starting a diary.

New one here

I'm on the Welsh Borders and just joined. Have never been on a forum like this before, just crafting ones. I am 65 and overweight. So much so that my knees are very painful. I've started a new healthy life style, lost a stone since Christmas and now going for the 2nd. I've started a diary, but haven't been here long enough for a ticker (didn't know what one was until the last few days!)

I don't know where to start

Really, there's not too much to tell you about myself. I'm in the UK, on the Welsh Borders and living is some of the most beautiful countryside England has to offer.I am 65 (born in 1950) married since 1975 and now we are both retired we are taking ourselves in hand. I was a neurosurgical theatre sister for many years. It's not as exciting as it sounds, all I did was hand the surgeon the instruments he wanted. The best part of the job though was teaching nurses and the worst part, having limited contact with the patients when they were awake.
Over the years I have tried every quick fix diet going. I lose the weight quickly then put is all back on equally as quickly. I'm attacking the problem now from a different angle. I'm shopping, cooking and eating as sensibly and as healthily as I can. I have a treat now and again, for example, Wimbledon has just finished and it is tradition in our house to have strawberries and cream watching both mens and ladies singles finals. I had the strawberries but just had a dollop of fromage frais with them.
I have an exercise bike and use it everyday. I started off just doing 3mins and now I'm up the 15. I know it doesn't sound very much but with painful knees I had to be helped on and off it the first time I tried:blush5: (yes, you don't have to tell me I know I'm a wreck) I also do step-ups on the bottom step of the stairs. I'm up to 20 each leg.
I had a check up with my doctor before I started and apart from the obvious... eating myself to death I was OK and he gave me the green light for gentle exercise, don't go at it a bull at a gate, just increase it when I feel I'm up to it.
My husband is on the new regime with me. He exercises by riding his bike and walking the dog (not at the same time) My ambition is to be out there riding with him and also walking the dog. They go too far for me at the minute
I have lost a stone since Christmas (that's 14lbs) and this week I have started on my second stone. I know it will take a long time, and I know I will fall off the wagon now and again. That's not as important as picking myself up and getting back on it though.
I think I have to be here a little longer before I can have a ticker. I didn't know what one was till earlier this week. The crafting forum to which I belong doesn't go in for tickers I'm afraid. Where to go, and how to set one had all been written down for me so... as soon as I get a signature box I shall have a bash at doing one.

The best way I've lost weight

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you the super simple way I lost weight and changed my life! Here's my progress in a 3 month progression... Click image for larger version.  Name: PicsArt_1434050284602.jpg  Views: 2  Size: 97.6 KB  ID: 23010
I achieved this through my amazing and simple nutrition program with Herbalife! I lost 23 lbs, 13% body fat, 2 pant sizes, and gained lean muscle and tons of energy! I've struggled with weight for quite some time now, and even after beating myself up in the gym, wasn't able to see these kind of results for myself.

Down 100 pounds in 6 months, 100 to go before the end of the year!

I have struggled with weight damn near my whole life. In January of this year, I decided to do something about it. This marks my 12983347 attempt to lose weight and I was encouraged when I started to do something different this time to help avoid failure. So I did. I started writing a blog about my experience. I am not trying to spam you with things, but if you want to check out my blog I wouldn't have to repost them here. I just made it public 3 weeks ago to hold myself accountable. The link takes you to the main page, but there are 13 posts over on the right in the archives.

If anyone has experience writing blogs and can give me tips on how to make it better, it would be appreciated.

This is not an ego grab, that's not who I am. I am just trying to hold myself accountable and maybe help a few people along the way.

Thanks.

Very new to all of this

Hello.

I am an overweight old fossil aged 65 and fed up with being fat. My knees and ankles are starting to complain, and its only a matter of time before my hips join in. I've tried all the quick fix diets and certainly lost the weight, but put it all back on again.
Since Christmas I have been eating sensibly and more importantly cooking sensibly. I've bought an exercise bike and have lost a stone (that's 14lbs) It's just a flea bite in the grand order of things, but I'm happy with it. My husband is on the health kick with me, he has lost 16lbs since Christmas. His exercise is walking the dog and I hope to join him before next Christmas because my joints are getting less painful and my legs feel stronger.
I've been told to get myself a weight loss ticker. Not sure what they are, but my neighbour has written down all the instructions for somewhere called Ticker factory for me to have a go. I only weigh every 2 weeks but a ticker seems a good idea for motivations so I'll have a go tomorrow.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Health is a result of standard training, appropriate diet along with eating routine, along with suitable remainder pertaining to actual physical healing from the details granted with the genome.

Health can often be broken down straight into next varieties:

A lot of solutions in addition refer to mind along with emotive wellbeing just as one critical portion of all round conditioning. Lift, Train, Fitness

I am a member from way back on this forum and in the past it was a great community, I am back more for the community and to help others rather than a need to loose a lot of weight.

The old hands here will know me but for those who don't

I am a 42 year old mother of 3 kids with disabilities, I am a former Australian Champion (Bench Press) and State champion (Powerlifting). I work as a Senior sports trainer (roughly equivalent to an athletics trainer in the US) and Registered Massage Therapist. By the end of this weekend I will also be a Qualified Powerlifting coach to go along with my certification as a football coach.

Weight wise I do carry a little more fat than I would like but I am in the normal BF% for my age. I do not judge weight by BMI as it is a poor measure of obesity. at 5'2 and 90 kg my muscle mass alone make me morbidly obese lol.

Training and Injuries and a couple of goals

I have been back in serious training for 3 month now after a 12 month lay-off due to injuries, during this time my weight got a little out of control but have lost 20 kg of fat in the 3 months back in training.

My goals for the rest of the year is to improve my BF% closer to the Athletic category, ideally between 12% - 15% but more realistically 20%
Finish the year without any further injuries
Return to competition
Coach my youngest son to a second Australian record - two more weeks to comp

Next post will be last nights training session

Could use some advice with my weight loss journey?

Hey guys. I'm a 19 year old female currently weighing 155 lbs and I'm 5'7. I used to weight 195 lbs but in the past year and a half I've managed to take 40 lbs off. However I still would like to lose another 30 lbs. I'm having a little bit of trouble losing these last 30 lbs though. I admit I did take a break from exercising after my 40 lbs weight loss.

I fell out of my routine for about 5 months and it was hard to get back into eating healthy and exercising regularly. I've been exercising about 5-6 times a week burning 200-300 calories a day and trying to eat a 1200 calorie diet however most days I eat more around 1500 calories. I've been back on track for About 2 months now I've given up wheat and sweets and most days eat very healthy combined with around 45 min cardio. In these two months I haven't noticed really any results though. My thighs do look a little smaller but I haven't really lost any pounds on the scale maybe only 2-3 lbs.

I do have cheat days but maybe a cheat day only once a week. Could this be the reason I'm not losing much weight? Or have I just not given it enough time? Would it help if I incorporated strength training? If so, what kind of weight lifting exercises could benefit me best? I also want to tone my arms, legs and back more. I think maybe I'm eating too much and should be burning more calories daily. I just get so hungry sometimes and I think part of my problem is I have too many calories for breakfast I'll have healthy things to eat like eggs and oatmeal but I think I use up too many calories earlier in the day so I end up over eating by night time comes around. Any advice could help me out, I'm trying to reach my goal weight but I feel stuck in the process and a little discouraged since I'm not seeing too many results!
